Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is a Central Government body that recruits staff for various posts in Ministries, Departments and Organisations of the Government of India. It conducts CGL, CHSL, MTS, CPO and other exams.

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Age limit is 18-32 years for most posts. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per government norms.
SSC CGL is for graduates and recruits for Group B and C posts. SSC CHSL is for 10+2 pass candidates and recruits for Group C posts like LDC, DEO, PA/SA.
SSC CGL has 3 tiers: Tier 1 (CBT - Objective), Tier 2 (CBT - Objective + Descriptive) and Tier 3 (Skill Test/Document Verification).
SSC exams are conducted in Hindi and English medium. Telugu medium is not available. However, questions are easy to understand with basic English knowledge.
