Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Age limit is 20-30 years. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per government norms.
IBPS PO recruits for multiple public sector banks (except SBI). SBI PO recruits specifically for State Bank of India. Both have similar exam patterns but SBI PO is considered more prestigious.
IBPS and SBI exams are available in multiple regional languages including Telugu for General Awareness section. However, English and Reasoning sections are in English/Hindi only.
IBPS PO starting salary is approximately ₹52,000 per month including all allowances. SBI PO starting salary is approximately ₹56,000 per month.
There is no restriction on attempts for IBPS and SBI exams as long as age criteria is met. You can appear every year till the upper age limit.
